Sprouse offers three different glass packages to enhance the performance of our windows and doors.
All Sprouse products feature Maximum Performance Glass as a standard offering. MPG glass features warm-edge technology – an industry term recognizing advances to keep the edges of the glass warmer to help guard against heat loss during colder months and heat gain during warmer months. On Sprouse products featuring the MPG package, the insulating glass unit features a non-metal spacer to lower conduction rates. The insulating glass unit itself is set deep into the sash frame as an additional warm-edge insulating blanket. To further enhance overall performance, the MPG package can be upgraded to MPG Plus™ which includes Low E/Argon-filled glass or to the MPG Extreme™ package which includes Double-strength, Low E/Argon-filled glass and the MPG spacer system.
